Symboliq Content Manager, Sarah, is Featured in UpCity’s Article on How To Hire A UI/UX Design Company

Finding a UX/UI design agency is tough work! The website is one of the first things that customers see when they inquire about your business. An attractive, user-friendly website builds confidence in your brand and turns clicks into committed customers.

UpCity, a resource that helps connect businesses to service providers they can trust, recently published an article on How to Hire a UX/UI Design Company. The article featured our very own Sarah Barrett, Content Manager // Web Designer at Symboliq Media as she gave her thoughts on the topic.

“Aside from looking at the agency’s website, client examples, and pricing, get to know the agency!” Says Sarah, “Typically, agencies will provide a free consultation call. Pay attention to the three C’s: Communication, Collaboration, and Culture. You’ll want to find a UI/UX design agency that will Communicate with you clearly about expectations, processes, or assets needed ahead of time, as well as one that will ask questions about your audience and really want to understand who your customers are.”

Understanding who our client’s customers are is a process we like to call, the “Be Heard Brand Analysis” or BHBA. The BHBA process is a strategic view of your audience and ways to find them and target them effectively online.

“Make sure you will have clear POCs at the agency. Collaboration is huge. You know your brand best, and the UI/UX design agency has the expertise to reach your customers at each journey point of your website. Together, you should make a great team. You will be working with your UI/UX design agency a lot, so look for one that aligns well with your company Culturally.”
