Today, we’re wishing a happy 1-year work-iversary to our Sr. Developer, Ryan! Ryan is a great asset to our Symboliq crew, always bringing a plethora of jokes and encouraging us to look at things from a different perspective. We have learned so much from Ryan and we are so glad he’s a part of our team!
We sat down with Ryan to talk about what he’s learned, his favorite projects, and challenges that he’s overcome over the past year as we celebrate his 1 year work-iversary!
Even though this year was a challenging one, what is the biggest lesson you learned in your year of being at Symboliq?
I would say the biggest lesson I learned would be to always keep learning new things since they can pay off and help in the end!
What was your favorite development project you worked on at Symboliq so far? Why?
My favorite development project this year would have to be Proton Collaborative Group (PCG). This site was fun for me because I got to make a custom user portal that displays and reports data to the registered user. I love making custom plugins and functionality that can expand our WordPress sites into something so amazing and interactive!
Looking back, what advice would you give yourself one year ago?
Being the jokester of our Symboliq team, what’s your favorite joke?
I used to be addicted to the hokey pokey.
Then I turned myself around.
